This piece was never made with the purpose of making art. It used to be the top of a study desk which
was used for everyday purposes, studying etc. All the sketches it has on it, were made little by little
day by day without specific meaning or explanation. They just expressed subconscious feelings and
thoughts. After the desk was full I had the idea of camouflaging this desk and present it like a piece of
art to fit a living room. And the question was, if a students study desk can be camouflaged and
presented as art.
This piece was made to explore how could a student’s study desk, full of abstract sketches, expressing random subconscious feelings and not made in the purpose of art creating, could ever be camouflaged and presented as a piece of art to fit in a living room.
